Apple Vision Pro
After nearly 30 -minute demo performed by the main features that are ready to test, I believe that Apple does not provide anything less than its new, XR's ability and implementation - or mixed reality.
Most clear, I do not say that it all promises, this is a true new example of computing or any other high -powered claim, which Apple hopes to deliver after shipping. I need a lot more time with the device than the guided demo.
But, I used every major VR headset and AR device from the Ockulus DK1 of 2013 through the Quest and Vive Headset of the latest generations. I have tried all the experiences and stabbing for getting it when it comes to XR. I was surprised as hardware and software developers of those devices and continued in their Marue Apps "Killer App's confusing problem" - I was trying to find a real purchase with a wide range.
There are some real social, narrative or gaming achievements such as Vrchat or Cosmonius. I have also moved me through the first person experiences of Sandance filmmakers highlighting the status of human (or animal).
But none of them have it, they have filed 5000 patents over the past few years and have enormous talent and capital to work. Every bit of this subject shows the Apple level ambition. I do not know whether it will have the next computing mode, but you can see the confidence behind every option made here. The corners are not cut. Full-exchange engineering on display.
Hardware is good - very good - with 24 million pixels on both panels, most users have more orders than headsets. Optics are better, the headband is convenient and adjusts quickly and has a top strap to lose weight. When Apple officially released, it is still working on any light seal (cloth shrew) options to ship with it, but the default is comfortable for me. They aim to transport them with different sizes and shapes to suit different faces. The power connector has a great little design, as well as interconnecting the internal pin-type power linkage with an external twist lock.
There is also a magnetic solution for some (but not all) optical adjustments for people with differences in view. Onboarding experience has an automatic i-relief calibration that matches lenses in the middle of your eyes. None of the manual wheels are adjusted here. The main frame and glass peas look good, although they are very important in size. Not heavy, but perfect.
If you have experience with VR, you know that two large obstacles that most people face are lonely that can be served by nausea or wearing sessions on your eyes for a long time.
Apple has reduced both of that. The R1 chip system, which is accompanied by the M2 chip, has a 12 mp polling rate and I have not noticed Judder or Framedrop. A little motion blur effect was used in Passrow Mode but it was not focused. The windows look crisp and moved fast.
In fact, Apple has been able to reduce those problems due to completely new and original hardware. Everywhere you see here, new idea, new technology or new implementation. All that new is available with the price: $ 35000 has reached the expectations of the estimates and keeps the device stable in the power user category for those who receive it. Aside from the sharpness of the display and the active response of the interface, the entire suite of the models attracts attention to the details.
The Personus Play. I have a lot of doubt that Apple can remove the digital avatar that can work by scanning your face using Vision Pro Headset. The suspicion was torn. If you measure your digital version that will create your avatar in face TIME calls and other areas, it will have toes on the other side of the unusual valley. This is not completely perfect, but they have worked properly to the skin tension and muscles, and the expressions you make are used to interpolate full -time facial contours using machine learning models, and brief interactions I made with the direct person in the call. (And it was directly transmitted, I checked by asking off-script items) didn't seem to be creepy or odd. It worked.
In fact, 3D films are good. Jim Cameron may probably have a moment when seeing "Avatar: Way of Water" in Apple Vision Pro. The matter is certainly born to sing a 3D format-and it can show them very quickly, so there is a good library of shot-on-3 D movies, which gives them a new life.
